Wangari's Trees Of Peace:A True Story From Africa

Book Report
I read a book called "Wangari's Trees Of Peace:A True Story From Africa". The author is Jeanette Winter.

This story is about Wangaris helped replant trees in Kenya because many trees have been cut down to make room for building.

First, Wangaris started to plant trees in her backyard. Next, she start a farm for baby trees. Then, she convinced the village women that planting trees is a good thing. Finally she tired to block the government from cutting sown tree.

The part of the book I found most interesting things that I want to know how many village women had she convinced? How many days did it take her to plant all the trees? How long did she stay in jail?

In this book I learned "Stand up for what you believe is right, even you are alone!". I agree that the concept of  "right" should be defined under a good moral and value system.
